Things to remember. All fair paperwork must be completed by June 30th. Coggins test copies must be submitted with paperwork for horse events. Be sure you read the fairbooks, as the horse show schedule was TOTALLY REORGANIZED this year, and you will need to know the changes.
Keep in mind that EVERY family must find a $20 sponsor / donation, which goes toward trophies at the fair and Tuscola County Horse Leader Horse shows. This money must be turned in with your fair paperwork.
Businesses, Family sponsorships, Grandparents…And be sure to thank them for supporting the 4H Horse Program!
We are doing a new theme for our Club’s stall decorations this year. We are going with a “Travel the USA” theme. Every member will pick their favorite State, and decorate based on things that each stage is known for. We want to use as many states as possible, so no duplication will be allowed! If we run out of states, I have some back up choices…
Start thinking about your favorite state in the Union. Anyone with Livestock, will be expected to carry over this theme to the other project areas as well!
Club outing: I would love to put a group together, for a night game at the Great Lakes Loons @ Dow Diamond, in Midland. Please shoot me an email if you are interested and we will choose a date! Friday night, July 3rd is a Fireworks night, and there is no horse show that weekend, so that is the first date that I am suggesting. If you are staying home for 4th of July weekend, LETS GO TO THE BASEBALL GAME! IT’S A BEAUTIFUL PARK!
PLEASE REMEMBER: WITH SUCH A BIG CLUB, WE DON’T WANT ANYONE TO FEEL LEFT OUT, MISINFORMED, OR UNEDUCATED. DON’T EVER HESITATE TO CALL ME, MARY, JULIE, HILLARY, OR KERRI WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL SOON!
